On August 26, 2024, as an investor, COSTEP, Council for South Texas Economic Progress, had the privilege of attending the Texas Economic Development Corporation (TxEDC) Investor Summit and Economic Recognition and Reunion Luncheon held in Austin, Texas.
The Investor Summit (for TxEDC Investors Only) featured panelists discussing topics associated with “The Future of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Texas,” The Future of the Texas CHIPS Act and Semiconductors in Texas,” and lastly, “The Future is Texas” with an emphasis on water, energy, education, space, and other areas impacting the future of the world.
The TxEDC luncheon provided an opportunity to reflect on and recognize past accomplishments and celebrate the state of Texas’s fantastic economic development success.
COSTEP is proud to support the Texas Economic Development Corporation. Its investment in the corporation provides for representation of the Rio South Texas Region in efforts to promote the state and lend a voice to the area’s economic development efforts and challenges.
