Strategic site selectors visited Matamoros, Tamaulipas to explore the competitive advantages and potential the city offers to investors, ranging from industrial park infrastructure and land availability to international logistics connectivity and a skilled workforce experienced in manufacturing processes. This was part of a familiarization tour organized by the Council for South Texas Economic Progress (Costep), in partnership with the Greater Brownsville Incentives Corporation (GBIC), and hosted by the Matamoros Economic Development Committee (Codem).
