Region One Tri-Agency Regional Convener

On September 8, 2023, COSTEP CEO Adam Gonzalez and RSTEF Grant Manager Rafael Tapia attended the Region One Tri-Agency Regional Convener meeting. Region One was a grant recipient of the Tri-Agency Regional Convener grant. The grant is intended to gather regional stakeholders in workforce development and education to pave the way for high-quality career and education pathways. The meeting was intended to kick off the Regional Convener, as Region One officially designated an advisory board to assist it in developing a strategic plan of action.

As an advocate of postsecondary education and workforce development, COSTEP is honored to be a part of the Regional Convener Board and looks forward to providing input as the group develops a Regional Strategic Plan.

COSTEP is a nonprofit organization focused on regional economic development for a seven county region comprised by Willacy, Cameron, Hidalgo, Starr, Jim Hogg, Zapata and Web counties.
