The Council for South Texas Economic Progress (COSTEP), established in 1972, is a Texas-based non-profit organization guided by the belief that equal access to education is the key to economic progress for all. We firmly believe that our people are our strongest asset and we work diligently to strengthen the skills of our people. Our vision is to be the premiere deliverer and servicer of guaranteed student loans through exemplary customer service, and be the foremost provider of information and access on financing a post-secondary education.
